The Dr. Timothy B. Henson Endowed Professorship in Pediatric Dentistry in the School of Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio honors the memory of a special pediatric dentistry professor who is remembered for being a gifted educator, innovative pediatric dentist, and a true friend to the school's faculty, residents and students.

In-Kind Gift from Zyris Helps School Provide Treatment

A very timely gift from Zyris, Inc.’s Dental Education Partnership Program allowed the School of Dentistry to take advantage of Zyris’ aerosol isolation system to assist in fully opening the school’s clinical practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. The gift was made in honor of David M. Bonner, DDS Class of 1980.

Canseco Family Continues Legacy of Student Support

Laredo natives Francisco “Quico” Canseco, and his wife, Gloria Canseco, have a tradition of supporting the School of Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio. In honor of their father, Quico Canseco and his seven siblings created the Canseco Foundation President’s Endowed Scholarship in Oral Health for students from the Mid Rio Grande area.
