Ryushiro Sugita, DDS, MS, and Michael P. Vieth, DDS, MS, were named finalists in the 2021 Balint Orban Memorial Program by the American Academy of Periodontology. The Orban competition allows current and recent periodontal residents to present clinical and basic science research.
Glenn R. Walters, DDS, Retires from School of Dentistry with 49 Years of Service
Glenn R. Walters, DDS, associate professor of endodontics, trained every dental student in the School of Dentistry from 1971 through May 1, 2020. Dr. Walters packed away his endodontic ruler and retired from UT Health San Antonio after 49 years of service.
