SA Cancer Council Has Record-Breaking Fundraising Year Despite Pandemic

The SA Cancer Council is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Mays Cancer Center. During 2020, the council brought in a record amount of financial support even with the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Give Cancer the Boot Race a “Virtual” Success in 2020

The 5th Annual Give Cancer the Boot Survivorship 5K and 1 Mile Walk in 2020 required ingenuity but was carried out virtually over two weeks in November. Approximately 450 participants supported each other on a Facebook event page.
Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q Continues Tradition of Support

Rudy’s Country Store & Bar-B-Q marked its fifth annual Rudy’s Campaign for the Cure in 2020. The Rudy’s team and its customers raised $94,000 during a year when the cancer center really needed support.
