Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q Continues Tradition of Support
Mays Cancer Center Annual Report
Rudy’s Country Store & Bar-B-Q have been partnering with the SA Cancer Council since 2015 through its annual Pink Cup Fundraiser. Funds raised through this initiative support breast cancer research and treatments at the Mays Cancer Center.
2020 marked the fifth annual Rudy’s Campaign for the Cure. In a year when the Mays Cancer Center needed it the most, Rudy’s team provided hope by raising more than $94,000, which was the highest single-year donation made through this fundraiser.
Each year, Rudy’s employees and customers look forward to the annual Pink Cup Campaign. Every single employee gets involved and takes great pride in helping to raise these vital funds. For many patrons, it’s more than just the gift of a coupon or receiving a pretty Pink Cup; it’s the joy of knowing they can do their part in advancing breast cancer research in the community.
Because of the thoughtful and effective marketing strategies of the Rudy’s team, more than $216,000 has been raised for breast cancer research since this campaign’s inception. Rudy’s Campaign for the Cure is the gift that keeps on giving, and this year’s campaign was the gift that this community needed.
