Match Day on March 15, 2019, was a joyful event for more than 650 medical students, their families and friends. After opening their envelopes, 202 students learned where their residencies would take them.

Help us support new medical students by giving to the Long School of Medicine White Coat Campaign. This new tradition is a meaningful way for alumni to connect with the next generation of physicians.

Jim L. Story, M.D., dedicated 29 years to the Long School of Medicine. His family’s ties to the school continued with the graduation of his daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters.

This year’s commencement ceremony featured 206 students who broke the school’s matching record with 99 percent securing residency positions.
