Canseco Family Continues Legacy of Student Support

Laredo natives Francisco “Quico” Canseco, and his wife, Gloria Canseco, have a tradition of supporting the School of Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio. In honor of their father, Quico Canseco and his seven siblings created the Canseco Foundation President’s Endowed Scholarship in Oral Health for students from the Mid Rio Grande area.

Glenn R. Walters, DDS, Retires from School of Dentistry with 49 Years of Service

Glenn R. Walters, DDS, associate professor of endodontics, trained every dental student in the School of Dentistry from 1971 through May 1, 2020. Dr. Walters packed away his endodontic ruler and retired from UT Health San Antonio after 49 years of service.
