The Long School of Medicine's first graduating class was in 1970. Since that time, the school has awarded Doctor of Medicine degrees to 13,578 graduates.
The Journey Begins with a White Coat
The Class of 2023 kicked off its medical education at the White Coat Ceremony on July 20, 2019. Before family and friends, 211 students donned white coats for the first time.
Students Pursue 2 Degrees, Help Underserved
Each year, approximately 20 medical students select to pursue their M.D. and M.P.H. degrees concurrently. Those earning the dual degrees are dedicated to addressing public health issues.
