Alumnus Enjoys Medical Career While Supporting Research
Robin Brey, M.D., chair and professor of the Department of Neurology, and former Dean Francisco González-Scarano, M.D., honor John Doran, M.D., FACP, (center) as a founding member of the school’s Aesculapian Laureate Society. The new society recognizes alumni who have given more than $1 million to the Long School of Medicine.

Graduate Dedicated to Family, Patients, Students, Giving Back
Steven J. Cyr, M.D., created the OsteoCorps educational comic book to increase youngsters’ interest in education and to make medicine less intimidating. Dr. Cyr and his cast of four costumed heroes and four villains make presentations at charitable events and at local schools.
