Leo Lopez III, M.D. Class of 2015, is in his second year as a National Clinician Scholar at Yale University in Connecticut. While there, he will earn a master’s degree in health sciences.

For Leo Lopez III, M.D. Class of 2015, a brain injury in high school changed the trajectory of his life. This led him to earn his M.D. from the Long School of Medicine.

Students Pursue 2 Degrees, Help Underserved

Each year, approximately 20 medical students select to pursue their M.D. and M.P.H. degrees concurrently. Those earning the dual degrees are dedicated to addressing public health issues.
