Nursing Professor Receives Trailblazer Award
KATHLEEN STEVENS, ED.D., RN, ANEF, FAAN, professor of nursing, received one of the inaugural 2019 Distinguished Evidence-based Practice Trailblazer Awards from the Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-based Practice in Nursing and Healthcare. Dr. Stevens is the founding director of the Academic Center for Evidence-Based Practice (ACE; now called the Center for Advancing Clinical Excellence), a School of Nursing Center of Excellence where she leads efforts to advance evidence-based quality improvement through research, education and practice.
