School of Nursing Visionary Leader Awards: Calling for Nominations
The year 2019 will mark the 50th anniversary of the School of Nursing at UT Health San Antonio. As part of its yearlong celebration, the School will award School of Nursing Visionary Leader Awards to individuals who have made significant contributions in the development and the advancement of programs of the School of Nursing and in advancing the health and health care systems in Texas, the nation and the world.
We are now seeking nominations of individuals—who are living or deceased—to be considered for these awards. Self-nominations also are encouraged. All nominations must be received no later than August 31, 2018. Award recipients will be notified no later than November 15, 2018. A photo and description of each award winner’s contributions will be published and distributed in a program at the ceremony and displayed in the School of Nursing. Selected nominees (or a designee) are requested to be our guests at the 50th Anniversary Open House and Award Ceremony on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
