Associate Professor Inducted as Fellow of AANP


Wendy J. Lee, D.N.P., FNP-BC, FAANP, RN, associate professor/clinical, was inducted as a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP). Throughout Dr. Lee’s professional career, she has authored policies on medical training to improve patient care. As the Family Nurse Practitioner Surgeon General Consultant, Dr. Lee expanded FNP practice. She increased the FNP deployment role and improved care coordination for the wounded warriors. She developed interprofessional education to train medical providers on sexual assault victim care. She is dedicated to master’s and doctoral degree programs in nursing curriculum development, continues to perform research on simulation debriefing, and conducts provider training.
