Sarah Morris, D.D.S.

Sarah Morris, D.D.S., FAGD, of Fort Worth (Class of 2006) received the Texas Academy of General Dentistry’s Fellowship Award during the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) 2017 annual meeting in July in Las Vegas.

The AGD Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality dental care by remaining current in their profession. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Morris completed 500 hours of dental continuing education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD.

Dr. Morris, who practices dentistry in Fort Worth, is a 40 under 40 of Forth Worth honoree. She serves her community by volunteering with Cook Children’s Save-a-Smile, Salt and Light Clinic, and Christina’s Smile.

Susan Putthoff, D.D.S., FAGD, of Kerrville (Class of 2010) was selected as the 2017 New Dentist of the Year by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. The award recognizes emerging young leaders in the field of dentistry. Dr. Putthoff completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the School of Dentistry in 2011.

Christina Meiners, D.D.S., of San Antonio (Class of 2010) is serving as board president of the San Antonio component of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. The San Antonio group recently won Component of the Year and a membership award for outstanding membership experience and engagement.
