Faculty Member Named Dentist of the Year
Kevin Gureckis, D.M.D., MAGD, ABGD, professor of comprehensive dentistry, was named Texas Dentist of the Year™ in September at the Texas Academy Awards in Austin. This award is considered the most prestigious honor a Texas dentist can earn.
Dr. Gureckis serves as a general practice group leader for third- and fourth-year students and dental hygiene students. He previously served his country for 24 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he was awarded multiple citations and awards for excellence and dedication.
