 Faculty, staff, students, alumni and community supporters gathered this spring to celebrate the Dental School’s 40th anniversary during a gala at the Marriott Plaza Hotel.

“The Dental School plays a significant role in our Health Science Center, and its programs are making a tremendous impact on the quality of life for South Texans,” said UT Health Science Center President William L. Henrich, M.D., MACP.

Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas Inc. was honored during the ceremonies. The organization has provided millions in funding to the Dental School and other Health Science Center programs.
