Briscoe will be missed by Health Science Center family

The President’s Council is saddened by the loss of beloved former Texas Governor and devoted friend Dolph Briscoe. His Texas-sized generosity funded many projects at the UT Health Science Center including the Janey Briscoe Distinguished University Chair in Cardiovascular Research and the Janey and Dolph Briscoe Division of Cardiology. His impeccable integrity and commitment to family are a fitting legacy to his career of distinguished public service.
